The Discovering of the Truth

In the war times it turned to be very difficult to show the real truth of the war’s essence, mass media was so powerful that for ordinary person it was almost impossible to say a word. Nevertheless, May Herschel Clarke tried to say what he though about the manipulation from the governmental side in order to involve as many people as possible without taking into the consideration the facts connected to death or injuries.
Her poem created in colloquial style and it could be the factor of her good education. A lot of metaphors were used in the text that could help to stress the terrible situation with the help of already known words.
